Great series! I read this as part of the book "Trifles and Folly"
Collector (A Deadly Curiosities Adventure) by Gail Z. Martin is a short story set in Charleston, SC. It centers around an antiques shop that secretly specializes in finding the mystical and possessed antiques that should never be left lying around old estates.
In this particular story Cassidy Kincaide, accompanied by Teag and Sorren who manage the store, receive a request like any other. But little do they know that this call will be anything but normal. Which fits right in with the characters true purpose.
I am not familiar with the Deadly Curiosities stories, but found each character to be well thought out, and vivid in their uniqueness. There was never any confusion as to who was who, and each complemented the other. The storyline jumps out and grabs you in, and before you know it you are wishing for more. A great recommendation for anyone looking for a new story.
I continue to enjoy the Deadly Curiosities adventure series; Trifles & Folly gets the neatest antiques. Unfortunately this story depends a lot on things which occurred in previous books and the wrap up comes just too fast. On the other hand, Gail Martin's ongoing research into various American Indian cultures adds a level of enjoyment to the tale. Overall a 4 on the GoodReads scale and a 5 on the scale.
